The emissions of trace amounts of highly odorous compounds cause unpleasant nuisances for operators in the respective production buildings, or for persons in the neighbourhood of sources of odours. Balewa’s strengths are the highly competent chemical analysis of root causes as well as the profound know-how of processes which may be applied for odour abatement such as deodorising process based on a wet chemical treatment, the compost bio-filter, or filters based on activated carbon adsorption.
